About Course

Bob McCoskrie has a background in media. In this session, he will discuss how to maximise the impact of media statements, and how to tackle and prepare for media interviews. He will also explain some of the ideology and worldview which is driving our media to be so hostile towards your views, and how you can counter that effectively.

Proposed Learning Objectives

  • Explain with examples how the media manipulates the language.
  • Demonstrate how to take control of the narrative in an interview.
  • Discover and articulate pitfalls to avoid when being interviewed.
  • Practise with tips from the session to help prepare for and make the best of a media interview.
