BPC 207 LGBTQIA Ideology in the Church

– Demonstrates how unbiblical ideologies are infiltrating the Church and how to combat these.

• Bryan Shen – Social Systemic Approach to Help People Deeply Hidden in Conservative Religious Communities (2023)
• Gabriele Kuby – The adoption of the LGBTIQ agenda in the Catholic Church in Germany (2023)

LGBTQIA ideology has become a significant topic of discussion, both in secular culture and within the Church. This course explores how the Church can navigate these discussions with both biblical truth and pastoral compassion. Participants will examine theological perspectives on gender and sexuality, social systemic influences on identity, and strategies for engaging in biblically sound pastoral care. This course is part of the Pastoral Care Basic Certificate program.

This course fulfills the following learning goals:
