Session 46 – Power Dynamics in Religious Communities: the Non-Sexual Consequences of Non-Heterosexuality

Many people in religious life with non-heterosexuality are often talented and capable. If their culture & society are highly negative towards LGBTQ issues, their non-heterosexuality can be deeply undisclosed. However, the developmental factors of non-heterosexuality will give rise to a range of problems which are non-sexual, not usually recognized, and masked by vainglory. This presentation highlights the symptoms, the dangers to the faith, and suggest ways to preclude the problems.
