This course examines how religious liberty, free speech, gender ideology, and family values intersect within clinical and mental health contexts. Through case studies and global perspectives, participants will develop strategies to navigate ethical, legal, and communication challenges in clinical practice. The course emphasises ethical reflection, professional communication skills, and principled decision-making to equip learners for responsible clinical practice.

This course fulfills the following learning goals:

1. Examine how developmental and belief frameworks influence ethical decision-making in clinical contexts (IFTCC A4, A5).
2. Reflect on personal and professional practices to improve ethical decision-making and effectiveness (IFTCC A4, A5).
3. Explain the importance of religious liberty and free speech, recognising the legal, ethical, and cultural factors challenging Christian professionals (IFTCC A5, A6).
