About Course

The term ‘consensus’ in the context of matters of family and sexuality does not evoke good associations. In the last few decades, we suffered a lot from the propaganda of the imposed pseudo-consensus where ideologically biased approaches were presented as an objective outlook shared by all important scholars and scientific organizations.

The 25-years long experience of expert work based on the Integrated Prevention Model gives us good theoretical, empirical and practical foundations for building a new, reality based consensus on matters of family and sexuality. We have a holistic understanding of the human person. We have the research to support it. We have effective prevention programs that implement it. And we have quite a lot of experience in lobbying on the national level in Poland. Our experience can serve internationally.

The goal of the presentation and of the subsequent discussion will be to look for ways how our approach can be used in other countries. We will try to discover the potential, and to identify crucial barriers… and we will invite cooperation.
