About Course
Although the majority of the church consists of healthy communities, we will learn, as a necessary preventative measure, a first aid kit for recognizing and avoiding psychological manipulation in a Christian environment. We will examine the differences between heresy, sects and spiritual abuse in the church. Also, there will be presented golden rules for protecting a healthy community from abuse. Each participant will have an opportunity to take a self-test to determine whether their community is healthy. The author’s research findings on wounds in the church and helpful steps for recovery will be discussed as well. The lecture will combine psychological, historical, and theological perspectives.
